Amy

Having always chosen a path that involves dogs, it was inevitable that Amy would end up here. The most notable source of inspiration for her work were her grandparents Weimaraners; the breed Amy still shares her home with today.

Earlier studies in fashion design refined Amy's sense of colour, mark making, and texture. Departing from traditional realism, she uses bold, unconventional colours—best known for her signature turquoise blue.

Amy captures her muses character from both photographs and/or live sittings. Each portrait is a tribute to the bond we share with the dogs; who become such an integral part of our lives. Amy's work is loved in private collections worldwide.
