Born and raised in South West England, Amy is a contemporary artist who now works from her Dorset studio. She grew up surrounded by dogs. The most notable source of inspiration was her grandparents Weimaraners, still sharing her home with this breed today.

Amy’s early studies in fashion design refined her sense of colour, mark making, and texture. Departing from traditional realism, she uses bold, unconventional colours—best known for her signature turquoise blue.

Amy captures her muses character from both photographs and/or live sittings. Each portrait is a tribute to the bond we share with the dogs who become such an integral part of our lives. Amys work is loved in private collections worldwide.
