AMY

When she's not at her home studio in Somerset, you'll likely find her scouring the coastline for sunrises with her dogs; clearing her head for a day with her paintbrush in hand.

Contemporary, canine artist born and raised in rural Devon, who spends more time with dogs than humans. Amys earlier studies in fashion design are instrumental today in her stylistic, emotional mark making and bold use of colour. Her original artworks are predominantly created in mixed media; gesso and heavy strokes of acrylic paint layered under and over black, ink washes.

She works from both still imagery and live sittings with canine muses, immortalising her four legged models on paper or plywood. An artwork style that sits simultaneously in both traditional and contemporary homes across the globe.
